Choosing Your Dot Putter

Choosing your Dot Putter depends upon your personal preference between a traditional ‘blade’ toe down putter designed for the arc putting stroke or a heavier face balanced mallet putter designed for the ‘straight back/straight through’ putting stroke. Dot Putter offers both basic types of putter, both featuring our world-patented PLX 2D Parallax Alignment System. Which of these putting actions best suits you?

    Dot PLX Arc Stroke

This is your stroke profile if you move the putter on a gentle arc (ellipse) with square face at impact.

You will generally have an average upright posture.

The toe-weighted Dot PLX blade putter is specifically designed for this stroke profile. Its world patented PLX 2D Parallax Alignment System ensures your leading eye is exactly over the Target Line and just behind the ball for an upswing stroke with maximum roll on both long and short putts. It has a 357 gram head, which is about standard for stainless steel blade

  • Dot 747 Mallet Putter

Dot 747 Straight Back / Straight Through Stroke

This is your stroke profile if you move the putter straight back & straight through with square face at impact.

You will generally have a more inclined posture. The Face Balanced Dot 747 mallet putter is specifically designed for this stroke profile.

Also features the world patented PLX 2D Parallax Alignment System to ensure your leading eye is exactly over the Target Line and just behind the ball for an upswing stroke with maximum roll. It has a 455 gram head, which suits those golfers who prefer a heavier putter.
